Hutt International Boys’ School
Three new science laboratories at Hutt International Boys’ School demonstrate a careful balance between durability, acoustic performance and visual clarity.
Working alongside Sarah Langford, Interior Architect, and the team at Westlab, Bosk Panels were installed across the laboratory spaces to provide effective acoustic absorption while maintaining a clean and contemporary aesthetic.
The panels contribute to a calm learning environment by reducing reverberation within busy teaching spaces, while their natural finish complements the practical detailing required in a modern science facility.
“It was great working with T&R Interior Systems from early colour selections to the finished article on site through Alpha Interiors,” said Henry Moono, Principal, Construction Delivery Manager at Westlab.
The result is a set of learning environments that balance performance with thoughtful material selection.
Installed by Alpha Interiors.
Thank you to Westlab for sharing the project photography.
